Uzbekistan's president set to visit UAE for key talks on investments, green energy
Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 13 to 16, at the invitation of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The visit is an official diplomatic mission with a packed agenda that includes meetings and events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Caliber.Az reports referencing President's press service.
During his stay in the Emirati capital, President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with President Al Nahyan, meet with leaders of state institutions, companies, and banks, and participate in the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week international summit.
In Dubai, a meeting with Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is planned.
The visit’s agenda covers strengthening Uzbek-Emirati relations and expanding practical cooperation in areas such as investments, green energy, infrastructure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative development, tourism, and more. Special attention will be given to enhancing cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Discussions will also address relevant aspects of international and regional politics. Following the talks, a comprehensive package of agreements is expected to be signed, aimed at advancing the full-scale cooperation between the two nations.
