Vice PM: Azerbaijan’s Horadiz-Aghband railway set for completion by 2028

Construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway line, a key component of the Zangezur Corridor, is planned to be completed in 2028, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev said at the 24th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Russia intergovernmental commission in Zangilan.

Speaking at the 24th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Zangilan, he noted that the total length of the railway line is about 110 km, and about 140 km including branch lines, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

“At present, the level of implementation of the project is around 75%. The main construction works have already been completed,” Mustafayev said.
