Western Azerbaijan Community opposes destructive statements of French ambassador to Armenia

The Western Azerbaijan Community stands against the irresponsible and destructive statements of French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies.

“French ambassador to Armenia, Azerbaijanophobe Olivier Decottignies again made irresponsible and destructive statements in an interview with the Armenian service of Radio Liberty on May 8, 2024, trying to aggravate the situation in the region and undermine the positive dynamics towards the normalisation of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” Caliber.Az reports citing the Western Azerbaijan Community.

The ambassador, who claims that Azerbaijan allegedly holds the territories of Armenia under occupation and is preparing for an attack, knows well that this is a trick of France, which is trying to justify the sale of weapons to Armenia.

The Western Azerbaijan Community calls on France to abandon its destructive policy, not to aggravate the situation in the region and not to hinder peace.
