WUF13 Azerbaijan operations company signs waste management agreement

The WUF13 Azerbaijan Operations Company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Clean City JSC to ensure proper management of solid waste during preparations for the upcoming World Urban Forum 13.

According to the operating company, the document was signed by Executive Director Adil Mammadov and the chairman of Clean City’s board, Etibar Abbasov, Caliber.Az repoprts via local media.

The memorandum aims to organize the effective handling of solid waste generated during the preparation and staging of the global urban development forum.

Within the framework of the agreement, both parties said they would prioritise the implementation of sustainable and efficient waste management approaches aligned with Azerbaijan’s national environmental protection policy.
