WUF13: Deadline for event applications approaching

Organisations and institutions have one week left to submit applications for partner events at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku from 17–22 May 2026.

According to the Azerbaijan WUF13 Operations Company, the deadline for applications is 29 January 2026. Interested parties can submit their proposals through the official UN-Habitat platform.

Event applications are accepted in seven categories: Networking, One UN, SDGs in Action, Urban Cinema, Urban Library, Voices from Cities, and WUF Academy.

Organisations and institutions planning to submit applications must first complete online registration through the UN-Habitat Global Event Management System (GEMS).

Once registration is complete, users can access the “Applications” section in their personal account to review the requirements for each category and complete their submissions. Note that only one application can be submitted per category.
