WUF13 in Baku: D-8 High-Level Energy and Urban Dialogue begins

A D-8 High-Level Energy and Urban Dialogue has begun at the Azerbaijani pavilion at Urban Expo, held as part of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to Report, the event — titled “Powering Sustainable Cities in the D-8 Region: Aligning Energy Transitions with Urban Development Agendas” — brings together energy ministers from member states, alongside representatives of the architecture and urban planning sectors, as well as city mayors.

The session is moderated by Gulshan Rzayeva, Deputy National Coordinator of WUF13 and Deputy Head of the Administration of Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.

The dialogue is designed to serve as an international platform for discussions on urban development, environmental protection, and climate resilience in the advancement of sustainable cities across the D-8 region.
