YouTube dominates Azerbaijan's social media market with 73% share

YouTube dominated Azerbaijan's social media landscape in June 2026, accounting for 73.07% of usage across all platforms, including computers, mobile devices and tablets.

YouTube's share rose by 39.55 percentage points compared with May and was up 52.5 percentage points from June 2025, Caliber.Az reports, citing Statcounter.

Facebook ranked second with a 7.43% share after declining by 13.06 percentage points over the month and 18.65 percentage points year-on-year. The platform has posted monthly declines for two consecutive months, with its market share shrinking fourfold overall.

Instagram came third at 6.92%, down 11.57 percentage points from the previous month and 25.15 percentage points compared with a year earlier.

Pinterest held fourth place with a 2.9% market share, marking a monthly decline of 5.07 percentage points and an annual decrease of 4.08 percentage points.

X rounded out the top five with a 2.55% share, falling 5.74 percentage points month-on-month and 7.13 percentage points year-on-year.
