Int'l community condoles with Azerbaijan over deadly embassy attack in Iran

The United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Netherlands, Belarus, Estonia, Finland have expressed condolences to Azerbaijan over the deadly terror attack on its embassy in Tehran.
The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist act at the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran, as a result of which one person was killed and several members of the diplomatic mission were wounded.
"The UAE condemns this criminal act and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism aimed at undermining security and stability in violation of morality and human values and principles," Report informs citing the statement of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The ministry stressed the obligation to protect diplomatic missions in accordance with the rules and statutes governing diplomatic work.
The ministry also expressed sincere condolences to the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people, as well as to the relatives of the deceased, and wished a speedy recovery to all injured.
In the same vein, the Iraqi embassy in Azerbaijan has expressed condolences in connection with the terrorist act committed in the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran, the embassy told Report.
The Netherlands also condemns today's brutal attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.
“Any attack on diplomatic missions and personnel is absolutely unacceptable. We express condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded,” Caliber.Az reports citing the Dutch foreign ministry’s report on Twitter.
The Belarussian Foreign Ministry has condemned the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.
“We condemn the armed attack on the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran on January 27, 2023, as a result of which a member of the diplomatic mission was killed and two other employees were wounded. We express sincere condolences, support our Azerbaijani colleagues and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. We are convinced that there can be no justification for such acts directed against the personnel of diplomatic missions and consular offices,” Caliber.Az reports citing the foreign ministry’s report on Facebook.
Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Reinsalu has also condemned the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.
“I condemn the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran today. Any act of violence against any diplomatic mission is completely unacceptable. I express my deep condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded,” АPА reports citing Reinsalu’s report on Twitter.
The Finnish embassy in the South Caucasus has written that any violence against human life must be condemned.
“The attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran is a terrible tragedy,” АPА reports citing the embassy’s message on Twitter in connection with the terrorist act committed in the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran.
“We express our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded,” it added.
An armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran was committed on January 27 morning.
The attacker broke through to the security post of the diplomatic mission and killed the head of the security service by using a Kalashnikov rifle.
Two embassy security guards were also injured while repelling the attack. Their health condition is satisfactory.
The criminal was detained by employees of the Azerbaijani embassy.
