Azerbaijan advances successful policy in Asia, says Philippine envoy

Azerbaijan is making significant strides in strengthening its position within the Asian region, according to Henry Bensurto Jr., the non-resident Philippine ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Speaking to local media, Ambassador Bensurto highlighted Azerbaijan’s growing influence on the international stage, Caliber.Az reports.

He noted his recent visit to Baku for the COP29 conference, where he observed Azerbaijan’s keen interest and active engagement with Asian countries.

“The policy Azerbaijan pursues to increase its global presence is clearly evident not only at COP29 but also through its participation in other international forums,” Bensurto said. “I believe this is the right direction, and I highly appreciate Azerbaijan’s policy in the Asian region.”
