The Georgian party "United National Movement", founded by former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, has announced its withdrawal from the country's parliament.
According to Gazeta.Ru, representatives made the announcement on Facebook on February 6.
"The United National Movement stops its parliamentary activity," the message says.
Representatives of the party also stated that from that day on “no one will rest” and the Prime Minister of Georgia will be the first to “feel it for himself”.
They added that the party "is switching to a state of emergency, and the capital will become the centre of the protest."
