UK defence secretary reveals US data on Russian losses in Ukraine

The United States of America believes that Russian troops have lost several hundred thousand soldiers since the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This was stated by British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, Caliber.Az reports, citing Sky News journalist Deborah Haynes on Twitter.

The minister said that, according to updated US data, Russia's losses in a full-scale war against Ukraine amount to more than 220,000 killed and wounded soldiers.

At the same time, the official did not name the specific number of liquidated and wounded military of the Russian Federation.

According to the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military destroyed 172,340 Russian soldiers.
