Azerbaijan, China discuss preservation, restoration of cultural heritage PHOTO

Azerbaijani Culture Minister Adil Karimli and his Chinese counterpart Hu Hipin discussed prospects of cooperation in the spheres of theatre, cinematography, museum business, library business, preservation and restoration of cultural heritage, as well as language and literature.

The sides met within the framework of the official visit of the Azerbaijani Culture Ministry’s delegation to China, Caliber.Az reports.

They also exchanged views on the mutual experience in the field of restoration of monuments, library business, cinematography, and joint film production. Cooperation in the field of creative industries was also noted.

Karimli invited his Chinese counterpart to take part in the next World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue to be held in Baku in 2024.

In turn, Minister Hu Heping made a proposal to hold a week of Chinese culture in Azerbaijan in 2024.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
