Türkiye's defence chief congratulates Azerbaijan on successful anti-terror measures

Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler has congratulated his Azerbaijani counterpart Col-Gen Zakir Hasanov on the successful completion of local anti-terror measures.

During the phone call on September 21, Guler said Türkiye, as always, stands by Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

Hasanov spoke about Azerbaijan’s military successes achieved in all directions in a short time during the anti-terror measures carried out in Azerbaijan’s Garabagh region.

The defence minister emphasized that the heroism, bravery, and professionalism of Azerbaijani servicemen demonstrated during the anti-terror measures are highly appreciated by the President of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ilham Aliyev.

In addition, the ministers held a detailed exchange of views on several other issues of mutual interest.
