Western Azerbaijani Community excoriates EU's anti-Azerbaijani statements

The European Union, finding itself in the position of France, will thus remain aloof from the process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.

According to Azertac, these thoughts were reflected in the statement of the Western Azerbaijani Community in connection with the anti-Azerbaijani statements made in recent days by the European Union, including High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell (Spain), as well as Germany.

“In particular, the expressions and tone of Josep Borrell are completely unacceptable. Against the backdrop of the recent growing statements by Spain against Azerbaijan, it is not clear: Spain is instructing Josep Borrell or Josep Borrell is instructing Spain.

Regarding the speech of the German minister in the UN Security Council, posted on the X (formerly Twitter) page of the German Foreign Ministry, the word “Lachin” is written not in English, but in French, which once again clearly demonstrates the deplorable state of Germany, the lack of her own position, and her approach to the issue is exclusively under the prism of official Paris,” the statement says.
