Italian ambassador hails military cooperation with Azerbaijan

Italian Ambassador Claudio Taffuri has said that the geopolitical situation is taken into account during a cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in the defence industry.

“Our countries successfully cooperate in various spheres. First of all, I would like to note that relations between Italy and Azerbaijan cover different spheres. As an example of our cooperation in various spheres, we can cite the work carried out in the energy sector,” Taffuri said in response to APA’s question.

“Moreover, it is worth noting the introduction of the Italian technologies to Azerbaijan, in particular, the supply of turbines,” he added.
