Azerbaijani, Columbian foreign ministries hold political consultations PHOTO

The Azerbaijani and Columbian foreign ministries have held political consultations as Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov visited the Republic of Colombia.

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry noted that as part of the visit, Mammadov was received by Colombian Foreign Minister Alvaro Duran, Report informs.

Another round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Colombia was also held. The political consultations were conducted by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov and Colombian Deputy Foreign Minister Francisco Coy.

The consultations focused on the current state of bilateral relations, the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic and energy, humanitarian demining, tourism, culture, education and other spheres.

Mammadov informed his counterpart in detail about Azerbaijan's peace agenda, the process of normalisation of relations with Armenia, as well as large-scale reconstruction works carried out in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation.
