Ambassador upbeat about trade turnover between Türkiye and Azerbaijan

Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Türkiye will reach $7.5 billion by the end of 2023, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci has said.

The ambassador said this at a conference held today in Baku on the topic “Heydar Aliyev 100 - the business world of one nation, two states,” Report informs.

In his opinion, over 10 months of this year, trade transactions amounting to 6.7 billion US dollars were carried out between the two countries.

“We will increase this figure by 20% by the end of the year. Relations with Azerbaijan are developing in all sectors. Economic cooperation occupies a special place in these relations. Our main goal is to increase trade turnover with Azerbaijan to 15 billion US dollars, and current figures show that we are halfway towards achieving this goal.”
