Turkish ambassador calls Azerbaijan’s hosting COP29 landmark achievement

Hosting COP29 in Baku represents a significant success story for Azerbaijan, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci told AZERTAC.

“The globally watched event will spotlight various critical issues, drawing the attention of the international community,” Bagci said.

The Turkish ambassador highlighted Azerbaijan's distinguished leadership, noting its four-year tenure as the chair of the Non-Aligned Movement. He also recalled the country's successful hosting of multiple summits of the Organization of Islamic Conference and the Islamic Solidarity Games.

"Organization of COP29 in Azerbaijan this year is a great success story," Bagci stated, underscoring the nation's growing influence and capability in organizing major international events.
