Vagif's Poetry Days, organised by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Culture Ministry, and the Azerbaijani Writers' Union in the country's cultural capital of Shusha, have ended.

Vagif's Poetry Days, which has a 40-year history, are held in Shusha for the second time after Shusha's liberation from occupation, Report informs.

A book exhibition was organised in front of the Karabakh hotel as the first event during the Poetry Days, with the participation of cultural and art figures, members of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, young writers, poets, and veterans.

The exhibition featured books by more than 100 poets and writers, as well as a presentation of books by individual writers.

On January 14, 1982, the mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif and the House of Poetry were inaugurated in Shusha with the participation of Azerbaijan's national leader Heydar Aliyev. During this visit, national leader Heydar Aliyev instructed that Vagif's Poetry Days be held.
