Air raid alert declared throughout Ukraine

An air alert has been announced across Ukraine, the country's air raid alert map website said.

Caliber.Az reports citing the information that the first sirens went off in Kyiv at 12:11 pm local time. Within a few minutes, the red area had spread throughout the country.

According to the alert, two MiG-31K have taken off from Savasleika airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

At 12.24 pm there was a report of another MiG-31K taking off from Savasleika.
