Algerian minister: Azerbaijan plays important role in NAM revival PHOTO

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf on January 19.

The Azerbaijani and Algerian officials meet more often, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.

The broad prospects for cooperation in various fields, including economy, trade, energy security, education, culture were emphasised. The importance of the political consultation platform in terms of discussing available opportunities was also stressed.

Attaf said that Azerbaijan played an important role in the revival of the Non-Aligned Movement. There is a mutually beneficial cooperation agenda between Algeria and Azerbaijan, in particular within the regional and international organisations. The importance of further mutual visits was stressed to expand cooperation in this spere.
