Algerian minister: Azerbaijan's contribution to peace, security - very important

Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra, who is the special representative of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who is on a visit to Baku, has highly assessed Azerbaijan’s role in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) as a chairman.

"We highly appreciate Azerbaijan’s role in NAM as a chairman, Azerbaijan's contribution to peace and security is very important," Report informs referring to Lamamra.

The Algerian minister noted that Algeria and Azerbaijan also cooperate within other international platforms and organisations, including the UN, OPEC+ and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

“I am sure that my visit will expand our cooperation. The world is very important to us. We think that our contribution to global peacebuilding can bring results,” the Algerian minister added.
