Ambassador slams incident with burning Azerbaijani flag at championships in Armenia VIDEO

Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Leyla Abdullayeva has said that the burning of the Azerbaijani flag at the opening ceremony of the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships in Armenia’s capital Yerevan is a shame.

“Armenia has violated its obligations again by failing to ensure security at an international sporting event. It's a shame! The European Weightlifting Federation must take adequate measures against this act of hatred,” Caliber.Az reports citing the diplomat’s message on Twitter.
