ANAMA deputy chairmen, Chilean envoy discuss humanitarian demining PHOTO

Deputy Chairmen of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Shamil Rzayev and Samir Poladov, held a meeting with Chilean Chargé d'Affaires Juan Carlos Salazar Alvarez.

During the meeting, the Chilean diplomat was briefed on ANAMA’s main areas of activity, the scale of the mine threat in Azerbaijan, and the extensive demining operations currently being carried out across the country, Caliber.Az reports per ANAMA.

Both sides exchanged views on potential avenues for cooperation in the field of humanitarian demining and explored opportunities to share expertise and best practices in mine action.
