Another organization for return to Western Azerbaijan established

An event dedicated to the creation of the Goygol representative office of the Zod Community under the Community of Western Azerbaijan was held.

Chairman of the Community of Western Azerbaijan Aziz Alakbarli, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the community Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, the head of the executive authorities of the Goygol District, Elvin Pashayev, as well as a group of elders and intellectuals, who were forcibly deported from Western Azerbaijan and settled in the district, attended the event, Report informs.

The participants in the event first paid homage to a monument to the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the Alley of Martyrs in Goygol.

Then a meeting was held with 300 representatives of Western Azerbaijan.

The local representation of the community will hold events at the local level aimed at promoting the right to return among the West Azerbaijanis living in these areas, popularizing their traditions, folklore, and cultural values.
