Another team of Azerbaijani rescuers return after quake relief efforts in Türkiye
Another group of Azerbaijani rescuers involved in the elimination of the earthquake aftermath in Türkiye is returning home.
The plane with the Azerbaijani rescuers will arrive in Baku on March 8, Trend reports.
Earlier, two groups of rescue forces from the Ministry of Emergency Situations already returned to Azerbaijan.
To recall, on February 6, two strong earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred in Türkiye with an interval of several hours. The source of the earthquake with its epicenter in the Pazarcik region of Kahramanmaras province lay at a depth of 7 kilometers. The earthquake caused serious damage in the provinces of Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adiyaman, Sanliurfa, Diyarbekir, Adana and Kahramanmaras.
On the same day, in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, rescuers of the emergency response force of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, consisting of 420 people, went to Türkiye. And on February 8, another group of rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was sent to the fraternal country - consisting of 227 more people.
