Apostolic Prefect of Catholic Church in Azerbaijan expresses condolences to Turkish envoy

Apostolic Prefect of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, Bishop Vladimir Fekete has sent a letter of condolences to Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.

“Dear Mr. Ambassador! The news about the numerous casualties and large-scale destruction caused by the earthquake that occurred in the southern Turkish districts on February 6 morning deeply saddened me. On behalf of the Catholics of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I express my sincere condolences to the entire Turkish people, especially to the families of the victims. I wish all the wounded a speedy recovery. May the Almighty send help and comfort to Türkiye in these difficult days,” the Catholic parish told Caliber.Az.
