Armenia acquires Chinese-made robotic “drone dogs” for military use VIDEO/PHOTO
Armenia has introduced a new generation of Chinese-made robotic platforms, often referred to as “robot dogs,” into its armed forces.
The high-tech machines are designed to perform auxiliary and logistical support roles, with capabilities that include automatic escort functions and the ability to carry up to 20 kilograms of supplies or ammunition. Armenian officials note that the systems demonstrated strong performance during recent landing exercises, Caliber.Az reports.
Beyond logistics, the robotic units are equipped for reconnaissance and offensive operations. They can operate in coordinated swarms supported by artificial intelligence, and are capable of accompanying troops in the field.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had earlier showcased the new platforms on his Facebook page, describing the robots as “a new friend of our military.”
