Armenia can keep Zvartnots airport working without Russia's help FM Mirzoyan tells his Greek Cypriot counterpart

Armenia is able to ensure the functioning of the border service at the Zvartnots airport without Russia's help, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

He made the remarks at a press conference with Greek Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

"From the very beginning, the presence of the Russian border guards was meant to support the Armenian state as long as Armenia needed it. Now there are institutional possibilities for the independent provision of this service, and we have informed the Russian side of this," the Armenian foreign minister said.
