Armenia, India discuss military policy issues
Armenian Armed Forces General Staff Chief Lt Gen Edward Asryan and India’s National Defenсe College Head Lt Gen Sukriti Singh Dahyan discussed Yerevan's military policy issues.
The Indian delegation also included military and civilian specialists from India, France, Brazil, Nigeria, Mongolia and Sri Lanka, Caliber.Az reports with reference to Armenian media.
After the meeting with Asryan and other senior representatives of the Armenian Armed Forces, the delegation met with Levon Ayvazyan, head of the Defence Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Defence Ministry, and visited the Defence Ministry's National Defence Research Institute,
During the meetings, the sides discussed regional security, reforms in the Armed Forces, military education and defence research.
The delegation, which is in Armenia from August 27 to 31, will also hold a meeting with Defence Minister Suren Papikyan.
