Moscow air defences intercept three drones, airports temporarily halt operations

As many as three drones flying towards Russia's capital have been shot down.

The city’s mayor, Sergey Sobyanin, confirmed the incident, saying emergency services are attending the sites where the wreckage has fallen, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.

Temporary restrictions on take-offs and landings have been introduced at Moscow’s Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.

Mayor Sobyanin reiterated that all three drones were successfully intercepted over the capital.
