Armenia seeks seizure of billions in assets from former army general PHOTO

Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office has filed a lawsuit seeking the confiscation of assets belonging to a former senior military official, including properties and funds valued at billions of drams.
The watchdog is targeting former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Haykaz Baghmanyan, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The Prosecutor General’s Office is requesting that the state seize a range of assets, including seven real estate properties, four movable assets, the market value of five vehicles, and more than 3 billion drams ($8.1 million).
The claim also covers assets identified as unjustified income, along with related expenditures.
