Armenia renews shelling Azerbaijani positions in Nakhchivan Situation escalating
The Armenian armed forces have renewed the shelling of the Azerbaijani army positions in Nakhchivan.
"On September 12, at about 11:25 (GMT+4), the positions of the Azerbaijan Army Units stationed in the direction of Havush settlement of the Sharur region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were subjected to fire from small arms by the Armenian armed forces units stationed in the opposite direction," the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.
The Azerbaijan Army Units took retaliatory measures in the mentioned direction, the ministry said.
Earlier, the Armenian armed forces, using various calibre weapons, fired several times from their positions located in the direction of the Birali settlement of the Davali district on the Azerbaijan Army positions located in the direction of the Sadarak settlement of the Sadarak district of Nakhchivan.
