Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan discuss unblocking of South Caucasus transport links in Moscow
The eleventh meeting of the trilateral working group, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan - Mher Grigoryan, Alexei Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev, was held in Moscow on December 6.
The parties stressed the positive role of Russia in the settlement of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as in the issue of efforts aimed at unblocking economic and transport ties between the two countries, Report informs, citing the statement issued by the press service of the Armenian government.
The officials also discussed issues related to the construction of a railway connecting Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, the development of railway communication, and the organization of transportation.
"The parties will continue to work on the implementation of trilateral statements on unblocking transport and economic ties in the region, signed by the leaders of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan," the statement says.
The Armenian and Azerbaijani sides expressed their gratitude to the Russian authorities for organizing the meeting and the high-level reception.
