The Armenian armed forces are shelling the Azerbaijani military positions in various directions along the conditional state border.
“On June 17, from 10:45, the units of our Army located in the directions of Gadabay, Kalbajar and Lachin regions are being subjected to intensive fire from different calibre firearms by the units of the Armenian armed forces located in opposite positions,” the ministry said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports.
The Azerbaijani Army is taking adequate countermeasures in all the mentioned directions mentioned by the Azerbaijani Army, the ministry said.
"The operational situation is under full control of our units," the ministry added.
Armenia periodically shells Azerbaijani military positions on liberated territories.
The previous ceasefire breach was recorded on June 16, at 09:15, when units of the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the direction of the Heydarabad settlement of the Sadarak region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from their positions in the direction of the Arazdayan settlement of the Vedi region, the ministry said earlier.
