Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan advance strategic energy dialogue PHOTO

Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan have discussed the development of cooperation in the energy sector.

According to a statement from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkmenistan, the talks took place during a meeting between the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Guvanch Agajanov, and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador, Gismat Gozalov.

The sides emphasized the importance of reciprocal high-level visits and contacts in advancing bilateral relations, and highlighted the significance of strengthening strategic partnership and fraternal ties between the two countries.

Particular attention was paid to expanding practical cooperation in the energy sector, especially in oil and gas. The current state and future prospects of collaboration in the fields of economy and energy were also discussed.
