Azerbaijan, Georgia boost defence ties by bringing together military legal experts

Azerbaijan and Georgia have held a working meeting of military legal professionals in Baku, as part of a bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening defence cooperation between the two neighbours.

The group of legal experts that provides specialised counsel on military matters exchanged views on the structure of legal services, military legislation, and the practical experience of legal specialists within the armed forces, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence.

The discussions also focused on aligning the two countries’ military legal frameworks with international law, alongside a range of other issues that aid in stronger cooperation.
