Azerbaijan, Latvia strengthen ties with new consular agreement
Azerbaijan and Latvia have moved to strengthen bilateral cooperation following high-level talks between their foreign ministers in Baku, where the two sides discussed expanding ties across political, economic, and humanitarian areas and signed a new consular agreement.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braže focused on expanding cooperation in political, economic, and humanitarian areas, as well as exchanging views on regional and international developments, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry’s X account.

Braze Baiba on the sidelines of the visit of President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs to Azerbaijan.
The Ministers discussed strengthening bilateral relations, expanding cooperation across political, economic and humanitarian domains, and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
The Ministers signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Consular Affairs between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, marking an important step in enhancing consular cooperation and services for citizens of both countries,” the Ministry noted.
