Armenian forces open fire on Azerbaijani Army positions, prompting retaliation
The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has reported another provocation by the Armenian armed forces near the border regions, marking a continued pattern of ceasefire violations.
On May 13, between 20:45 and 21:30, units of the Armenian armed forces stationed in the directions of Gorus and Chambarak regions opened intermittent fire on Azerbaijani Army positions using small arms, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.
“Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures in the mentioned directions,” the ministry said.
This incident follows a similar provocation just three days earlier. On May 10, at 09:55, the Armenian armed forces units stationed near Chambarak region, using small arms, subjected the Azerbaijan Army positions to fire.
