Armenian forces shell positions of Azerbaijani army in Kalbajar region The enemy was suppressed with retaliation fire

During the night of July 4, the Armenian troops located in the direction of the Zarkand settlement of the Basarkechar region on the Armenia-Azerbaijan state border shelled intensively the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Damirchidam settlement of the Kalbajar region by using large-calibre weapons.

The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures, Caliber.Az reports, citing a statement issued by the country’s defence ministry.

Currently, the situation in this direction is stable, the Azerbaijan Army Units control the operational situation.
