Armenian forces target Azerbaijani positions again in nighttime shelling
On the night of March 20-21, the Armenian armed forces shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani army, marking another violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to a statement from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence, units of the Armenian armed forces fired intermittently on Azerbaijani positions using small arms from multiple directions, including Gorus, Basarkechar, and Chambarak, per Caliber.Az.
Earlier on March 20, between 12:30 and 15:15, similar shelling occurred. Armenian forces targeted Azerbaijani Army positions using small-arms fire from locations near the Khanazakh settlement in the Gorus region and the Zarkand settlement in the Basarkechar region.
Fortunately, no casualties or material damage were reported following these incidents.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has regularly documented violations of the ceasefire by Armenian forces, including similar small arms fire attacks targeting Azerbaijani positions. Just two days earlier, on March 19, Armenian forces carried out attacks in the Keshishkand and Basarkechar regions.
