Armenian forces target Azerbaijani positions in Nakchivan

On September 5, from 9:35 pm to 10:00 pm, units of the Armenian armed forces from their positions located in the direction of the Gafan region periodically fired at the positions of the Azerbaijan Army located in the direction of the Ordubad region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

"Our units took responsive measures," the Defence Ministry of Azerbaijan reports, according to Caliber.Az.

Earlier on the same day, at about 7:35 pm, illegal Armenian armed detachments in the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed, attempted to install long-term fortification facilities in front of the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of the Khojavend region.

The conducted work was immediately stopped as a result of urgent measures taken by the Azerbaijan Army units.
