Armenian media: Pashinyan's opposer faces serious accusation
Sources close to the investigating authorities in Armenia report that a rather serious charge will be brought against the former Chief of the General Staff of Armenia, General Onik Gasparyan, soon.
The news came from the Yerevan-based newspaper Iravunk, according to Caliber.Az.
“They say that Onik Gasparyan has already been interrogated several times as a witness, but his attempts to “get out” did not work," the newspaper writes.
"Earlier, we reported that General Tiran Khachatryan is also next in line, on whom they are trying to blame for the fall of Jabrail,” the newspaper adds.
Meanwhile, on February 25 last year, the General Staff of Armenia, headed by Gasparyan, made a statement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his cabinet.
