Armenian PM eyes closer ties during upcoming Kazakhstan visit
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed confidence that relations between Armenia and Kazakhstan will continue to evolve, paving the way for the development of bilateral strategic cooperation.
According to Caliber.Az, citing Armenian media, Pashinyan conveyed these views in a congratulatory message to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of Republic Day.
“I hope that during my upcoming official visit to Kazakhstan, we will have the opportunity to discuss the Armenian-Kazakh agenda for the benefit of friendship, prosperity, and the development of strategic bilateral relations,” Pashinyan stated.
He also noted that the implementation of agreements reached during President Tokayev’s visit to Yerevan last year will accelerate the deepening of cooperation between the two nations.
Pashinyan highlighted the significance of Kazakhstan’s reforms aimed at strengthening independent statehood, establishing political and civil institutions, and advancing socio-economic, scientific, educational, and cultural development.
“Thanks to your far-sighted approach and consistent, principled steps, Kazakhstan today plays a key role in regional and global affairs and enjoys respect on the international stage,” the Armenian prime minister emphasised.
