Armenian president dismisses National Security Service Border Troops’ commander

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on April 12 to dismiss Arman Maralchyan from the post of commander of the Border Troops of the National Security Service.

The president signed the decree on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's proposal, Caliber.Az reports this with reference to the Armenian media.

Maralchyan was appointed to this position on October 26, 2020, replacing Vaghinak Sargsyan at this post.
