Armenian ultranationalist party threatens PM Pashinyan, flattering Russia
The Dashnaks, who have a notorious terrorist past, issued threats against Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the remnants of Armenian gangs in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region, which is temporarily controlled by Russian peacekeepers.
The statement of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation “Dashnaktsutyun” bureau condemns the “surrender of Lachin and Zabukh by the Armenian authorities of Karabakh to Azerbaijan”, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
At the same time, the Dashnaks have been quick to intercede for their overlord - Russia, which, they say, the Armenian authorities go against.
“The authorities of the Republic of Armenia are simultaneously inciting anti-Russian sentiments, further worsening the Armenian-Russian relations. Their irresponsible attitude simply knows no bounds,” the statement reads.
“As in the case of the terrible consequences of the 2020 war, the entire responsibility for the surrender of settlements to the enemy [Azerbaijan] and the uncertainty over the fate of the corridor connecting Karabakh with Armenia lies with the authorities of Armenia and Karabakh. No one will escape responsibility,” Dashnaktsutyun voiced its threats.
