Association: Azerbaijan-Türkiye ties reach peak thanks to both leaders’ policies
The Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations, developing on a historical, national, and cultural basis, have reached their peak today thanks to the policy of the leaders of both countries, Chairman of Azerbaijani Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD) Rashad Jabirli has said.
Jabirli made these remarks at the agricultural and food forum in Baku, Trend reports, citing TurkicWorld.
“As is known, the Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations cover all spheres of our life. Today, these relations are developing according to the `one nation, two states’ principle as Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev said. Of course, the role of economic factors in strengthening these ties is undeniable. MUSIAD Azerbaijan considered it its duty to do everything that depends on us in this sphere. Earlier, we organised many important economic forums in Azerbaijan,” he said.
Jabirli emphasised that both Azerbaijan and Türkiye are agricultural countries and agricultural products play an important role in their development.
“Let’s remember that the Azerbaijani leadership pays special attention and encourages the agricultural sector, which is part of the non-oil sector. Moreover, Türkiye is one of the countries with developed agriculture and a strong economy. In this regard, the association of farmers from both countries, as well as people involved in this sphere, is a platform for mutually beneficial cooperation, exchange of experience, and the emergence of new thoughts and ideas. I think that today's forum will have a significant contribution for both Turkish and Azerbaijani farmers. Moreover, I believe that mutual investments will be made following the forum,” he added.
The opening ceremony of the food and agricultural forum organised by MUSIAD Azerbaijan was held in Baku on December 13.
The TurkicWorld media platform has been chosen as the official media partner of this forum.
