Azerbaijan advances in UN Sustainable Development Goals Index

Head of the department of the Azerbaijani Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Rashad Huseynov has said that Azerbaijan has gained 73.5 points out of 100, advancing by five lines in the annual comparison, in the UN Sustainable Development Goals Index for 2022.
“Azerbaijan currently ranks 50th among 163 countries according to the "Sustainable Development Goals Index" (SDGs),” Baku-based Report news agency quoted Huseynov as saying.
"According to this indicator, Azerbaijan is the leader in the South Caucasus region (Georgia ranks 51st, Armenia - 66th). For comparison, the average indicator is 71.6 in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, which is less than that of Azerbaijan,” head of the department added.
