Azerbaijan Air Force conducts training flights under 2026 Training Plan PHOTO

Aviation units of the Azerbaijan Air Force have carried out a series of training flights in line with the 2026 Training Plan approved by the Minister of Defence.

Following readiness reports submitted by flight crews, commanders evaluated the pilots' theoretical understanding of mission requirements as well as flight safety regulations and procedures, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.

The pilots subsequently performed pre-flight technical inspections of their aircraft before beginning flight operations.

As part of the exercise program, JF-17C (Block III), Su-25ML and L-39 aircraft completed daytime takeoffs and landings along assigned routes while carrying out complex piloting exercises and combat manoeuvre tasks at various altitudes.

The training flights were aimed at strengthening the combat readiness of military aviators, with particular emphasis on the accurate and safe execution of missions in different tactical environments and on improving the effective combat employment of aviation assets.

Military pilots participating in the exercises demonstrated a high degree of professionalism throughout the training activities.
