Azerbaijan, Algeria celebrate 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations
The Azerbaijani Embassy in Algeria has announced that a ceremony was held in Algeria’s Tipaza city to mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria.
"As part of the event organized in the city of Tipaza, Algeria, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, comprehensive information was presented about Azerbaijan's tourism potential and the outcomes of the COP29 Summit held in Baku," Caliber.Az reports, citing the embassy’s message on Facebook.
Earlier, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov welcomed Zakiya Igil, the newly appointed Algerian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, to discuss the future of bilateral relations and regional dynamics.
The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Algeria, as well as addressing regional and global issues.
Bayramov highlighted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations and emphasized the need to utilize political consultations to strengthen ties in various areas, including economy, trade, energy security, and humanitarian efforts.
